Chapter Two inspired me to capture the dynamic tension right around me in my very own basement. As I walked through my basement I spotted lines and used the techniques, particularly of drawing the eye away or outward noted in the book.
For the first two photos I took a more literal and structural approach with varied and sharp lines. As for the second I worked with softer lines still trying to draw the eye but in a vertical direction. Lastly I tried to channel the push and pull of a laundry machine in motion and draw the eye with the combination of rounded and straight lines.
