Inspired by Annie Dillard’s “Seeing” I wanted to see and appreciate something that I’m in contact with everyday in a different way then I’ve never seen before. I started looking and truly seeing some of my everyday items as Dillard described and found that my water bottle was actually quite stunning. A crystalized sculpture, full of the shadows and light, contours and crevices, a geode-like cavern.
