Hidden Community

A look inside the community of the Michigan Girls Club Lacrosse Team. 32 girls, 3 coaches, 1 dedicated team manager. After a 2018 WCLA National Championship win and a 19-0 undefeated season I had to see what makes this team so successful. What I found from my excursion was not only a highly dedicated team who carves out three nights a week of practicing sometimes until 1 in the morning, but friends who laugh and learn together. This culture is constructed from a truly kind and caring coach, Dave McKinnon who along with his drive for success puts the well-being of his players above all else.
